EneSolve launches its Carbon Strategy Platform

Knowing your carbon footprint is important. Doing something about reducing it is critical.

The EneSolve Carbon Strategy Platform (CSP) provides clients with a powerful tool to not only derive your carbon footprint, but systemtically plan for its reduction based on forward price curves for carbon and detailed feasibility analyses of abatement projects. With this detail the system produces Marginal Abatement Cost (MAC) curves to help determine teh relative timing and attractiveness of abatement projects versus the acquisition of accredited emissions permits and off-set credit instruments.

"As with all systems, the more accurate the input data, the more useful the result...at EneSolve we provide clients with very tight feasibility analyses on propspective energy efficiency measures and use the CSP to incorporate that analyses as the basis of a coherent strategy", commented Doron Ben-Meir, Executive Director of EneSolve.

David Mountseer, Executive Director of eneSolve added, "I've been developing energy efficiency strategies for clients over the last 30 years and the CSP provides a very useful tool for centralising all of the relevant data and helping senior executives quickly understand their options and their financial impacts." He added, "as we face a future with an inevitable price on carbon, the CSP treats carbon as another currency and applies financial controlling disciplines to what has thus far been a purely environmental question."

The following slide show provides further insight into the scope of the CSP and how it may be used as a tool in driving any organisation's sustainability strategy over the coming years.
